Aesthetics of the Jump

This work captures the pure dynamism and rounded silhouette of a horse in mid-jump. The abstract motif fascinates with a compelling interplay of deep areas, luminous accents, and fine lines that lend the movement an enthralling lightness. A subtle touch of red on the legs and precise brown dividing lines artistically structure the light, beige-white background. Here, the artist uses relief-like textures and impasto layers of paint to convey the powerful sweep of the mane and body in a tangible way. An expressive work of art full of aesthetic appeal and athletic elegance.
