Classical Dressage in Traversale

This impressive work is a profound tribute to fine classical dressage and depicts renowned trainer Anja Beran in perfect harmony with her horse. The painting captures the demanding aesthetics of a perfectly executed traversale at the trot - a moment of absolute balance, lightness, and the most refined use of aids. Against a deep, reddish-brown glowing background, the Iberian horse’s athletic silhouette emerges in sculptural relief and with proud bearing. Here, the artist uses relief-like textures and impasto layers of paint to convey the sweeping rhythm of these lateral movements onto the canvas. A highly exclusive masterpiece for connoisseurs, celebrating the respectful and proud dialogue between horse and rider with absolute style.
